We got great news for all of you who are tired of ATs and are ready for a new type of tournament. A few of you may remember when we mentioned a while about about a player hosted, Guildcafe sponsored, tournament to look forward too. Nothing ever happened and we kind of went silent for a few months. Well, we got good news now! Things have finally begun to get going and we're proud to officially announce the first Guildcafe sponsored Rawr Cup.

One of the main highlights to this new tournament is it has three Divisions - This means three levels of play. There are separate prizes for each division, so we can really say, anybody can win a prize...
First prize for the top division is a 22inch LCD monitor!

Rebel Rising [rawr] will be hosting their very own first Minipet giveaway in conjunction with the Guildcafe Rawr Cup tournament during the next month! All you have to do is take 3 seconds to post once on this thread here:

and you will be automatically submitted into the random drawing to win a free undedicated minipet!

At the end of each week leading to the Rawr Cup tournament, we will randomly select a lucky player to win a free minipet. As it gets closer to the official launch of the Rawr Cup, the price and rarity of the minipets will increase. On the final weekend (the weekend the tournament launches) we will be giving away one mini naga to one very special person.

Sounds like Anet is actually supporting it themselves, although the lack of information makes it hard to understand it completely. So you get a key before the tournament and you can use the token you get that way to enter the tournament. And then it runs like an AT. But that is basically where the info stops.
Actually, there is more, just hard to find. Noon GMT on Saturday December 1. Bit of a strange time to start a tournament, but I'm sure there is a reason for it. Also 3 divisions sounds like a bit too much. Will be fun to see how it turns out tho.
Also, that monitor, is that 1 monitor for the complete guild or will that be 8 monitors?

Some Updates:
The first week of the minipet giveaway has come and gone! Congratulations to Deelundra Edge for winning a mini water djinn! If you missed signing up, don't worry...there's still 2 more weeks left and a mini mallyx and naga raincaller waiting for new homes! All you have to do is make 1 post with your IGN and you are entered for the other 2 drawings. It takes only 5 minutes and you could be the new proud owner. Go here to check it out:

To the pvpers: The Rawr Cup tournament is still looking pretty open for any competitors out there who want to take chance at cool prizes. Looks like the games for Dragon Division will be pretty exciting. There's a lot of top level guilds already signed up, EW and DF to name a few. Phoenix Division is also filling up, it's currently our post popular division. The Titan division (designed for players with little to no gvg experience) has plenty of spots left, and we encourage everyone to try it out. The titan division is also the only division offering tournament reward points, so its a good way to get a chance at winning those without top 100 guilds dominating the competition.
